The Women’s Business Enterprise Advocate of the Year Award recognizes women – either business owners or employees – who demonstrated advocacy of women-owned business development and support of the WBCS by actively serving on committees and leadership roles.

According to Business Wire, the Parade of Stars Awards Gala is, ”an evening honoring Women’s Business Enterprise and sustaining (corporate) members who go above and beyond to ensure the successes of women-owned businesses. These members support Women’s Business Enterprises through advocacy, volunteerism and sponsorships. It also recognizes the corporations and government agencies that provide WBEs with growth opportunities in today’s competitive marketplace.”

The event also featured a red carpet, cocktail reception, seated dinner, raffle prizes, silent auction and an after party with dancing.

Along with Lindsay, other KellyMitchell attendees were Lydia Snyder and Bryan Womack.

Congratulations Lindsay on your nomination!
