Job Summary: Operations Support Systems Engineer


  • Independently perform enterprise-level Cisco ISE design, configuration, troubleshooting, and propose enhancements to improve performance.
  • Resolving escalations from network operations centers, project teams and customers.
  • Own and drive resolution of highly complex system and application incidents, track and complete change management request. 
  • Mentor network operations engineers 
  • Support new technology and product integration 
  • Assist with remediation efforts of security vulnerabilities per procedure 
  • Review and provide technical analysis on IAR’s 
  • Create and maintain knowledge articles 
  • Analyze platform issues and manage escalations to various organizations 
  • Expert level knowledge of Cisco ISE, with hands on experience with OS, applications support or networking, including common network security practices, standards and troubleshooting.

Desired Skills/Experience: 

  • Basic knowledge of network routing and switching concepts. 
  • Minimum of 3 years of networking experience. 
  • Experience with Cisco ISE configuration and troubleshooting. 
  • Configure Network Access Devices (NADs), policy components, and basic authentication and authorization policies in Cisco ISE - Implement Cisco ISE web authentication and guest services. 
  • Deploy Cisco ISE profiling, posture and client provisioning services. 
  • Intermediate knowledge of IT concepts, OS, application support and network management. 
  • Configure device administration using TACACS+ in Cisco ISE. 
  • Basic knowledge of network routing and switching concepts. 
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • CCNP 
  • SISAS (Implementing Cisco Secure Access Solutions) 
  • ITIL
