This role will be a key driver in maturing the DevOps mindset within our agile teams using techniques such as Acceptance Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery to provide quality products with seamless integration across Development, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure, Operations, and Release Management roles. You will be working closely with other engineers in an agile environment with a high degree of freedom. In this role you will:
Drive our AWS/GCP environments using containers
Automate deployment of container applications, system configurations and security settings
Introduce new technologies and related tools to grow our agile development environment
Collaborate with developers to make sure new environments meet requirements and conform to best practices focused on security
Own DevOps processes & help make developers lives easier when they need project resources.
Participate in product design to help architect scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions
Passionate about Dev Ops and Workflow Automation
Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
Has a strong focus on business outcomes
Comfortable with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
Exhibits a deep understanding of Linux based Operating Systems
Experienced with Kubernetes Cluster setup & management
Familiar with Infrastructure Automation tools such as Terraform
Setup of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
Experience writing Node JS applications and scripts a plus
Previous experience with Openstack APIs & CLI a plus
Previous experience with Bitbucket, Jfrog Artifactory, SonarQube & New Relic a plus
1. Bachelor's degree in a Computer related field or equivalent
2. 10 years of technical task management
3. Plans, conducts, and may supervise assignments.
