Node.js Developer

Job Summary: 

We are looking for a talented Node.js Developer with strong DevOps skills to join Our Client's Engineering Services Tooling team to help build out the best in class CI/CD pipelines and toolchains. We are looking for candidates with an infectious passion for building quality software and the desire to spread a DevOps culture throughout our organization.


  • Developing enterprise quality software and products
  • Creating and extending an automated release management framework
  • Providing best in class tooling and toolchain products for our 100+ engineering teams
  • Building guardrails around development process
  • Having a security and trust mindset when designing and building systems
  • Consult with internal customers and act as an advocate in representing their requirements to teams and develop innovative ways to overcome their challenges

Desired Skills/ Experience:

  • 5+ years work experience in as a Software Developer/Engineer with an emphasis on development of packages and tools using Node.js (NOT experience related to Express.js or API development)
  • Source Control Systems (Git, Gitlab, SVN, or similar)
  • Software branching strategies and trunk-based development
  • CI Tooling (Preferred: Jenkins CI)
  • Created build/test/deploy pipelines
  • Fluent in one or more scripting or object oriented languages
  • Experience creating and managing custom packages
  • Understands Object Oriented software design
  • Worked in a test driven development (TDD) environment with a quality mindset
  • Worked in an Agile software development environment
  • Understanding of a Secure Software Development Lifecycle
  • Experience working with the public cloud (such as AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Worked with containers (Docker or CRI-O)
  • Understanding of cloud-native or microservice architecture Worked with globally-distributed teams across time zones
  • Worked in a large enterprise with a history of influencing change across many stakeholders
  • Worked with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Cloudformation)
