Instructional Designer

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the design, development and implementation of training solutions created for our Client’s Corporate audience, including functions such as Human Resources, IT, Legal, Recruiting, and other allied groups. To be successful, this individual must have solid experience designing and developing learning materials. Attention to detail while managing multiple projects is a must.

Duties:

  • Design, develop and implement quality training solutions that are on-target, on-budget and on-time, working within a consistent process
  • Conduct each phase of  process for identified learning requests
  • Develop and lead execution of detailed project plans including resources and timelines and manage to the targets set
  • Establish and maintain high performing relationships with project team members to ensure learning solutions meet identified needs

  • Collaborate with other designers and developers
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written, verbally and persuasively with individuals as well as with small and large audiences
  • Experience in managing multiple design projects
  • Proven competency in all phases of instructional design with expertise in the development of learning within a corporate environment
  • Strong experience in the use of technology to design and develop learning solutions, including e-learning, video, and other online modalities – primary learning modalities developed by this position are web-based.
  • Ability to rapidly learn and utilize new technology tools
  • Ability to rapidly adapt to changing situations or priorities
  • Experience in utilizing emerging technologies
  • Ability to work successfully in conditions of uncertainty
  • 3-7 years of full lifecycle curriculum design experience
  • Technical training background
  • Advanced interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with executive stakeholders

  • Xyleme LCMS
  • Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
