Agile Product Management Advisor

Duties:

  • Agile Product Management serves as the internal voice of the customer.
  • Defines system features and participates in validation.
  • Responsible for the scope  and the vision and roadmap for the Team's initiatives.
  • Must be aware of other work being completed within the Portfolio so that they can help teams proactively manage risks and dependencies.
  • The individual provides expert content/professional leadership on complex assignments/projects.
  • Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.
  • Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders.
  • Focuses on providing thought leadership but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business.
  • Recognized internally as a subject matter expert. 
  • Own a product backlog with complexity for a focused product suite. 
  • Support the backlog management process using Jira and Jira Align . 
  • Maintains product backlogs and sequencing. Manages or assists in the elaboration of features/epics into quality user stories. 
  • May drive Feature/Epic socialization. 
  • Partners with BPOs to write Feature/Epics. 
  • Partners with BPOs to ensure transparency into IT Feature/Epics. 
  • Conveys the vision and goals to the IT Product teams. 
  • Interfaces and engages the customer.  
  • Develop and maintain technical and product roadmaps for a focused product suite of low complexity.
  • Ensures product technical health represented.
  • Considers reliability, tech debt, and product total costs of ownership. Deep level of understanding of the product.

  • Deep level of understanding of the product. Communicates status to focused group of business stakeholders.
  • Partners with of BPO and SE/QA and cross functional partners to ensure transparency into IT Feature/Epics. Kore.
  • AI and IVR experience is a plus. Experience with Content Mangement Systems

Desired Skills/ Experience:

  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Able to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time. 
  • Experience in a Technical Product Owner role, writing user stories, requirements, story mapping, managing the backlog and roadmap.
  • Proficient in extracting requirements from business and other cross functional teams
  • Confluence, Jira and Jira Align experience
  • Able to keep composure and handle priority changes frequently
  • Managing Scrum and Kanban backlog experience
  • College degree 
  • 2-4 years of work experience minimum
  • Previous TPO role
