Job Description: Our client is looking for a Treasury Specialist to join their team! This role will be responsible for daily reconciliation using Trintech ReconNet software comparing batches posted in the billing system with deposits at each local office bank account. This Treasury Specialist will perform monthly reporting for accounting reconciliation and audits, and prepare and maintain confidential information and correspondence.

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
  • Initiate electronic transfers of funds, including ACH and wire transfer
  • Manage electronic deposit of checks received in corporate office
  • Reconciliation utilizing Trintech system to balance deposits to billing batches
  • Work with local office to correct any discrepancies
  • Perform bank account maintenance, adding and deleting signers, or opening and closing accounts
  • Manage ad-hoc projects as requested
  • Work with stores and banks to maintain vault setups and maintenance
  • Manage deposit slip ordering process and maintain location listing for deposit slip provider
  • Provide administrative and clerical support for the department
Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • College course work in Accounting/Administrative Services or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years administrative and/or secretarial work experience
  • 1+ year(s) treasury operations/accounting work experience
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Ability to read, write and communicate with employees, customers and suppliers in-person and on the phone in a clear, straight-forward, and professional and pleasant manner
  • Ability to use personal computer and software applications
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of cable television products and services
  • Knowledge of banking terminology
  • Knowledge of basic Accounting theory and procedures
