Responsibilities:

• Evaluates and tests software for completeness, quality, correctness and security
• Develops test plans and test cases
• Develops automated tests
• Performs manual and automated tests for software functionality, installation, and usability
• Leads business partners through User Acceptance testing
• Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts
• Manages bugs and error tracking
• Documents and presents test results to management
• Coordinates and prioritizes testing of application modifications and bug fixes
• Works with multiple development teams and software projects, is the testing liaison between the technology and business organizations

Skills and Qualifications:

• BA and/or testing experience
• Knowledge of electrical industry
• Experience in Transmission or commercial operations areas
• Transmission or utility accounting & balancing of power authority
• Experience with a test tracking software package
• Experience with Transmission and BA Operations functions
• Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional groups to achieve project objectives

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the Energy industry, especially in relation to Front/Back Office, Settlement, and Utility Accounting functions
• Accounting background
• Microsoft Applications - Adap 2 (vendor) settlement software
• GE EMS platform experience
