 SAS Developer with solid SAS and database experience on Unix/Linux to support, enhance, and document processes used to address the reporting/analytics and data requirements of business intelligence users and decision makers in our credit card Fraud operations areas. You'll be involved in the whole end-to-end process – from ETL using SAS and SQL (Teradata, Hadoop, SQLServer, Snowflake, and Oracle), through delivery and presentation via Tableau, Excel, and databases/files. The ability to work independently, as well as to collaborate with other BI team members and business users, is a must.

• Provide day-to-day support for scheduled and ad hoc processes, including trouble-shooting and problem resolution
• Gather requirements for process improvements and other enhancements
• Identify, code and test changes to address reported issues and requested enhancements
• Thoroughly document existing processes and enhancements, and communicate changes to team members and users


MandatoryAt least 5 years of solid experience designing, developing, and testing software using:

Base SAS (including macros) • UNIX/Linux (including scripting and scheduling) • Large-scale databases using SQL • Extensive experience with Teradata and/or Oracle in a data warehousing environment • Prior experience developing and supporting business intelligence, reporting/analytics and data management initiatives • Data analysis/profiling experience • Experience with Python

Ideal CandidateCredit card industry experience

Highly Experience with AWS/Cloud technologies, including Snowflake

• Experience with other database technology (Hadoop, SQL Server) • Experience with Tableau Desktop/Server or other enterprise BI software • Data management/quality experience • Proficiency with MS-Office • Familiarity with OLAP concepts (SSAS, other) • Agile experience (Jira, GitHub) • Degree in quantitative discipline
