This Project Manager role will help steward enterprise investments and drive the delivery of transformational change in a digital portfolio.
The incumbent will support the successful implementation of strategic programs and projects, working for the Vice President, in a fast-paced implementation team. Supporting key program management constructs include: managing multiple initiatives across internal cross-functional teams, and third party vendors, and integrating launch activities with technology dependent deliverables.
•Participates under the direction of the Senior Manager / Vice President to support the implementation of enterprise level projects from through implementation and closure.
•Drive escalation and resolution of issues. Accountable for identifying needs, securing commitments and monitoring progress of deliverables from internal and external service provider teams responsible to the program.
•Accountable for effective program management, tracking, documentation and delivery of work requests and projects within committed schedule.
•Create milestones, initiative roadmaps and communicate project status reporting and other formal/informal tracking including sub-projects, inter-dependencies, risks, contingency plans, and project resources.
•Facilitate internal / external meetings, managing program artifacts, ensuring efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
•Ensure that the scope of the projects within the program align with business priorities.
•Promote a risk-aware culture, ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
•Proven ability to lead large scale programs, integrating multiple project teams from internal and external organizations.
•Ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport with project team members; to work creatively and demonstrate a tolerance for ambiguity while driving issues to resolution.
•Strong communication skills in both written and virtual, including communicating issues, risks, and articulating a clear vision of project success with senior leadership stakeholders and external business partners.
•Experience within the Financial or Payments industries.
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
•7+ experience in program / project management (required, hands-on experience with both Waterfall and Agile. PMP and Agile certifications (preferred).
