Service Operations Engineer - Senior

Active Migration Project in the role of a Problem Manager. The goal of the project is to convert the worker's PCs and login accounts from one Active Directory infrastructure into the Bayer ecosystem. This engagement will run through the duration of the effort, scheduled to complete at the end of the calendar year, but could extend longer based on outside factors.

Provide ongoing monitoring of IT ticketing systems including identification, resolution, and escalation to proper teams regarding the impact of changes to the end-user experience.

Assist functional teams in the detailed analysis of root cause of issue/problem ticket and identify trends & observations in areas such as application access, security, and end-user disruption.

Categorize problem tickets and identify opportunities to improve the stability and quality of the automation and support processes.

Manage and communicate high severity issues through resolution, providing accurate and timely status reports to management, stakeholders, and the core project team.

Candidate Requirements:

Ability to work independently in a leadership role with front line responsibilities.

Experienced in working in a Service Delivery role in a Business Critical environment. Must have a business/ end user focus with a technical background.

Experience with high availability/incident response.

At least 7-10 years progressive experience working in an Information Technology environment. Must be conversational in diverse technology sets.

Experience with critical communications from engineer to executive.

Directly related field and/or equivalent work experience (5 years) in end-user, IT security, application, or end point device support.
