Ruben Harris is a name to watch in the tech industry. The CEO of Career Karma, an online platform matching people with job training, Harris started his career by landing a job at a start-up only three weeks after he moved to San Francisco. He received messages from people asking for career tips, which prompted him to start his “Breaking Into Startups” podcast and eventually, Career Karma. Harris and his team recently raised $40 million in funding to expand into the Higher Education and Enterprise sectors.
Stacy Brown-Philpot

Stacy Brown-Philpot boasts an impressive tech resume, with positions such as Senior Director of Global Consumer Operations at Google, and most recently, CEO of TaskRabbit, a company offering a popular platform that allows people to find same-day services. Now, Brown-Philpot is bringing this experience to her leadership on boards for HP, Nordstrom, Noom, and StockX, a Detroit-based global e-commerce platform. She also oversees SoftBank’s $100 million Opportunity Growth Fund, a new initiative that aims to foster diversity in venture capital and startups.

Chrisfino Kenyatta Leal’s work serves as an inspiration to all. Kenyatta is a founding member of The Last Mile at San Quentin, a program that prepares incarcerated individuals for successful reentry through business and technology training. In 2021, he assumed the role of Executive Director at Next Chapter, an organization that helps transform the tech industry by creating sustainable employment pathways for people leaving incarceration.
Nadiyah Johnson

As CEO and Founder of Jet Constellations, Nadiyah Johnson oversees a fast-growing software company that offers tech solutions in industries including Medical and Financial. Johnson also leads The Milky Way Tech Hub, an initiative that promotes STEM education in inner city Milwaukee by providing community workshops, panels, talks, hackathons, and thinking sessions.
Kai Bond

Kai Bond started his career at Microsoft before spending a decade founding startups in the gaming industry. His third gaming startup, Pixie, was acquired by Samsung.
