Chicago’s Christmas Tree in Millennium Park

Friday, November 16th, 2018 through Monday, January 1st, 2019 Place: Millennium Park Near Michigan Ave. and Washington St.

We saved perhaps the most iconic of Chicago’s holiday experiences for last. The Christmas Tree in Millennium Park is a Norway Spruce which stands at 60 feet tall, is 48 years old, weighs 8,200 pounds and is decorated with thousands of colorful lights on top of that!

This Chicago tradition is celebrating it’s 105th year and if you’re looking for other things to do by the tree be sure to check out the McCormick Tribune Ice Rink or the world-renowned Christkindlmarket at nearby Daly Plaza.
