Last time we suggested you be proactive, available, and stay updated when working with a technical recruiter. Here is our final installment of helpful tips, happy hunting!

Follow-Up

We want to hear from you! While we are doing our best to identify your next, great opportunity, we realize that you are also aggressively searching for a new position independently. Don’t hesitate to contact us at any time throughout your placement process, we will reach out to you when we have updates, but we need to be updated on your progress as well.

Be Patient

The placement process timeline varies from client to client, and factors can change during that process. It is important to be patient and understand that matching the right candidate with the right position takes time. We have found that the best positions are usually worth waiting for!

It is Okay to Say “No”

We will work hard to find the best position and fit for you. In order to create that perfect match, there will be positions along the way that might not be the best cultural fit, location, duration, etc. Be open with your recruiter and let them know when you are excited about an opportunity and when you would rather pass, this helps educate your recruiter on what your ideal position looks like and keeps the line of communication open.
